I managed to hunt down a copy of HW2 in Game this morning. Interesting reading some of the nuances of the strike groups/formations settings...very interesting. Looking forward to soe good games, with
normal resource settings...none of this battlecruiser racing

Fucking A!
Though everyone should be aware that I've never played the game, or it's predecessor, in my life.
But if it involves monkeys, I'm in.
Someone else form a rookie team... we'll have a laugh

I'm going to be buying it on the way home from work. I played Homeworld 1 a few times, but I'm still pretty n00bish.
Might be able to persuade Willerz to join me in a rookie team.

Excellent....bring on the games. A nice rookie game, 2v2v2 on friday night would be an excellent warmup, let everyone have a faff about with the units etc.
