Which FPS?

Seeing that mid_gen has put Halo 2 in the MMORPG poll, I thought I would run a poll on what First Person Shooter people are waiting for the most.

Number one FPS I'm waiting for the most is Halo 2 followed by Doom 3.

Deus Ex 2 no doubt, Deus Ex is my favourite first person shooter, I LOVE IT!! the atmosphere, the storyline! god the storyline is great, the setting! the future, conspiracies! Deus Ex already is my perfect game, except that it doesn't have any controllable helicopters, every game should have choppers. Deus Ex 2 is gonna rock my mind. I hope.

Describing Deus Ex as an FPS is like saying David Beckham can kick a ball a bit, but anyways...

I'd have to go for Deus Ex 2, just because there was so many good things about the first one, and the things that weren't so hot were limited by the technology at the time. I've got a good feeling about this one, it might be a bit early to say but there's definitely something seriously working its magic at ion storm.

Doom 3 will no doubt set a new bar graphics wise, but i've yet to see id make a great singleplayer game to go along with it. It's usually someone a year or two down the line that really shows off the latest Carmack engine.

Halo 2 is gonna be special, but a year is a long time and xbox will need something else in the meantime to stop the interest wanning. Me 'n Mid had a sneaky go on Splintercell beta code and my god does it look sexy.

no, i dont know what dues ex is, but its the only thing stopping halo winning! and i cant enjoy halo until it comes out on the pc!

Biggles, too cheap to buy an x-box.

i dont actually have a tv really, so an x-box would be useless, i dropped my tv shortly after i made my pc and never really wanted another one, i can use the one downtstairs for star-trek voyager and bad girls:>

Deus Ex could fit in this genre, it all depends on how you play it.. although i prefer to play it the silent assasin/computer hacker way...

I assume Deus Ex 2 is going to be a similar format.

Biggles, Halo is your daddy. You're not even fit to wipe the boots of one of the grunts from it.

Anyway, this argument "It's not on the PC, ergo it's shite" holds no water. Goldeneye was far better than any PC shooter at the time. Less so Perfect Dark.

I have lylat wars, I still play it now and then, used to take me forever to complete, now takes me a few hours, weeeeeeee.

I play Deus Ex in the stealthy assasin hacker style too.
mmm going to China and France and stuff is cool, I hope there are more cool locations in Deus Ex 2.

i wish i still had it, i might have to go and buy an n64, they are pretty cheap now.

i completed it all the easy way, could quite find the way down the middle! but when i went all the hard way i was absolutely demoished fighitng them baddies, and all my team-mates would die:( then i was too upset to kill the ugly face
