What a marvellously constructive comment =/

Grabbing a copy of Computing or suchlike and flicking through the recruitment section is probably best bet..

Or you could look at the job search on www.theregister.co.uk

I would like to point out that the job market at the moment is an utter bitch.
Myself, and all my friends who applied to Accenture have been rejected.

We're talking Imperial College computing grads here, and they're turning EVERYONE down. Seems the industry's totally fucked at the moment - Accenture in particular doesn't even have enough jobs for its current people, let alone new recruits...

Gah. They're all bastards.

My post was before it was edited, I get it now. 'Course, finding that niche market is always the thing.

the industy will pick up about mid year, it's predicted. it does this every 3 or so years apparently. Service deliveries always a better market but not to sure about application dev and managment

The IT industry is hardly 'new' anymore.

All industries follow the business cycle biggles, no matter how "new" or complex you may think they are.
