what could i use to create and format 2 partitions on a new drive,

also what would happen if i installed windows 98 onto one partition, then cloned winxp onto the second? im guessing it wouldnt turn boot.ini into a multi operating system oogjamflip and then only load win98,
OR does boot.ini detect the operating systems every time it loads????

Use the old DOS FDisk command.

Use Partition Magic 7 or 8.

Use the Partioning software that comes on XP Install CDs, they're self booting.

Use XP as master boot and let it sort out the 98 Partition for you.[/list]
