I discovered a really really old mirror of one of your early websites earlier....here's the Shotgun LAN 1 review :
Well... that was an experience!!! All things considered it actually went really well. None of the hubs died, and we didn't have any catastrophic network failures. Really should have got some gaffa tape to protect power cables, as 4 separate people tripped over one of them, taking out half the room, but no damage was done. We'd like to apologise to all the people who couldn't come because of our distinctly dodgy maps on the homepage, but we'll get that sorted. Hopefully we should have some photos and reviews from players on the site soon. If you'd like to mail me a review, feel free, cos we are interested in what other people thought. We should be getting another together soon, possibly spanning an entire weekend, with some better servers and the whole thing a little more organised. Well done to Oblivion, cos he whipped most people's asses in the Quake II deathmatch.

*sniff* the memories...
And now another choice snippet from the pre-SG LAN 2 post :
.....we are considering the purchase of a 4-port switch. It probably sounds a little excessive, but we don't want to end up with a 2-port that isn't big enough someday.....
I was there too but don't remember tripping any cables. I do recall playing alot of TFC and killing alot of presidents (wonder if I just tripped any nice FBI/NSA software).
