Is it art?

Post by mid_gen » Wed Nov 20, 2002 2:53 am

good question, but I'll put it here anyway....tis my OpenGL project for uni.

I just gotta tweak the mouse/kb controls for goold WSAD and mouselook, then I might do something interesting with it (other than move around an asteroid field =/ Any suggestions? Alas, a Steve Irwin 'gator wrasslin' sim is a bit beyond me, but something to work towards

If anyone's got a pre-DirectX 8 machine they can test it on that would be grand :)

As for suggestions what about a basic space shooter type of game?

Got a new build up now. Mouse looks left/right, w is forward, s is back.

Changes :

Added fogging
Added clipping planes
Fixed lights, they are now static instead of moving with the camera
