Okies - We can now confirm that official opening time is going to be 10pm.

Those wishing to make the journey sooner will find pre-SG pubbage going on down the road from about 8 or so. The pub is "The Cricketers", which saw a similar fiasco happening last time... For those who know the area, it's on the same cross-roads as the Chinese takeaway down the road... for those who don't...

http://www.shotgunlan.com/images/venue_map.png

It's where Lower Weybourne Lane crosses Badshot Lea Rd.

Note that we can't accept responsibility if you park a car full of PCs outside the pub (or the venue, for that matter), and it gets broken into. If you have to be dropped off, we may be able to arrange limited PC storage, although you need to get in touch ASAP. Again, no responsibility can be taken if we look after your kit for you.

Note to self : Last event's strategy of having 5 Stellas, then attempting to set up the LAN was not a good one. Try not to get lashed before event. ;)

i should think so, im taking him out for a beer later, i think 4 gig ports might need to be reserved though, can we all say "load balencing" i'll need 2 and i think wilik might need 2 as well.

Rib, you might have to start charging people to leech off the server! Its becoming another SG trademark!

How many hard drives you got in there now and whats the total gig-age (or terra-age)?!?

Gig ports - Yes pls

Post by Phlebus »

I may be late, but i am bringing my 350gig shares. Can i reserve a gig port too? and a 10/100 port too. As my fluffy new board has both. I'll use the 10/100 for gaming, n let u lot leech off me gig port :)
