You get the idea. We have a bit of a niche in the LANparty community in that we just play games and have fun and don't push over-competitive tournaments on people.

Something that echoes that sentiment is what we're after..

Just been playing Neocron offline demo, it's come along leaps and bounds since I played the beta. (apart from crashing my PC on exit....but I'm not sure I've got the latest version of the demo). I shall be giving it a go next week when it goes live, and will report back

Well, I'd say <geek> that the main attraction is the same as playing a SP RPG &#40;ie building up a character, new weapons etc etc&#41;, and being able to show it off and play as part of a community </geek> Anarchy Online had potential, but the developers dragged their heels in implementing ...

All depends on the number of people who turn up. Personally, I'm all for keeping the numbers down, and I don't mind admitting that it's because I want to do as little work as possible at the LAN.

We'll have a think once we get closer to the next event and have an idea of numbers.
