why would you need to collect a mail order bride? surely they... mail it (i mean her) to you? /me is reminded of a conversation he had with ZiK about Kulgan bringing us back "presents" i.e. two japanese girls hidden in his suitcase (god knows how they would fit, we didn't think that far)....

...and I'm now finding it hard to change to other languages... that is a concern of mine, I'm hoping that I will be able to easily forget it all, tell myself that everything I learnt about VB is useless now and move on, so that I can start afresh with C or C++. only one way to find out... unfortuna...

Have a browse round amazon, read the customer reviews. Balls that your using VB 6 tbh, it's not particularly OO-oriented if I remember right. Cheap-asses probably don't wanna cough up for vs.net licenses. Get a good book though...well worth it. thanks for the tip, I'll do just that. I don't know ho...

as part of my college course I've just started I get to learn Visual Basic, and they're going to teach us version 6 (lucky me).

I'm sure there's a few people around here who will know about it
